…and we’re off!

Our first works on site have been an extensive programme of groundworks to create a level site, drainage and a stable
foundation for the new depot and waste facilities.

This has been a busy period of activity, and you may have noticed an increase in construction traffic in recent weeks. We are doing everything possible to minimise impact to Barton Hill and local roads. All heavy goods vehicles have been instructed to use the main A134 and A143 roads only, and are prohibited from using smaller local roads.

We have also put in place measures to minimise the effects of noise, dust and vibration on residents and neighbours.
